To manage, process, and ensure accuracy of payroll operations using SAP HR/HCM systems, while ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations. The role bridges HR and Finance by accurately managing employee compensation data and related reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review end-to-end payroll using SAP HR/HCM or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Maintain employee payroll records including salary, benefits, deductions, and leaves.
- Validate time and attendance data for accuracy before payroll run.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax laws, and social insurance requirements.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Generate payroll reports for management, finance, and auditing purposes.
- Process final settlements for resignations, retirements, and terminations.
- Keep SAP payroll master data updated (new hires, salary changes, benefits updates).
- Participate in payroll system upgrades, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
- Handle employee payroll-related queries professionally and promptly.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of SAP HR/HCM Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for payroll analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of payroll tax regulations, benefits administration, and statutory compliance.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Confidentiality and integrity with sensitive payroll data.
- Communication and coordination skills with HR and Finance teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in payroll processing, preferably with SAP systems.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Certification in SAP HR/HCM or payroll processing is an advantage.
