Project & Development Services - MENA
JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenant and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.
We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, tenancy management, sustainability, leisure & entertainment, and workplace & design.
The Role
The Project Manager (Fit Out) will lead and oversee commercial interior fit-out projects within JLL's Project Development Services (PDS) division in Egypt. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining client satisfaction and upholding JLL's reputation for excellence.
What this job involves
- Managing the complete fit-out project lifecycle from design development through to handover.
- Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinating with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality execution.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Managing client expectations and maintaining clear communication throughout project duration.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to project delivery and implementing corrective actions.
- Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Overseeing the procurement process for materials and services within budget parameters.
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Managing change orders and controlling scope to minimize budget impacts.
- Conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas of improvement for future projects.
Desired skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial fit-out projects, preferably in the Egyptian market.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, fit-out processes, and material specifications.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and quality control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client and team relationships.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.
- Strong understanding of Egyptian building regulations and permit processes.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Problem-solving mindset with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience working with multinational clients and understanding their specific requirements.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
