Are you an engineering student looking to kick-start your career with hands-on, meaningful projects? Danfoss Drives is offering an exciting Engineering Internship opportunity within our iC7 Software Platform Team in Graasten, Denmark. As an intern, you’ll become a part of a highly skilled and innovative team that develops embedded software and tools for next-generation frequency converters used worldwide in green and efficient technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
What You’ll Work On
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to engage in various high-impact assignments such as:
- Enhancing the usability and functionality of internal software tools, including the Drive Builder Tool
- Creating effective strategies and tools for internal knowledge sharing and documentation of core team expertise
- Co-developing the strategic direction for our MyDrive Programming (PLC Programmability tool)
- Collaborating on the development of an AI strategy that will shape how we use artificial intelligence in our software processes
- Supporting the cyber security upskilling initiatives across the team by helping build awareness and competencies
What We're Looking For

- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and interest in software tools, process improvement, and digital transformation
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with programming concepts and a basic understanding of industrial software is a plus
