About the Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Regional Business Development Associate to spearhead our expansion and market penetration efforts in the GCC technology sector. This role is ideal for someone passionate about SaaS, cloud solutions, and cutting-edge tech who can identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive revenue growth across the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
You will be responsible for identifying new business prospects, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to design and deliver solutions that meet market needs. Your focus will be outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity development, with the goal of building a healthy sales pipeline for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Development & Prospecting
- Research, identify, and qualify potential leads across GCC markets (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman).
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking at industry events.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
2. Relationship Building & Account Management
- Engage with C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers to understand their challenges and present relevant solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships to support upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing market insights and product knowledge.
3. Collaboration & Solution Development
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to customize proposals and pitches.
- Provide feedback to product teams to ensure offerings meet regional customer demands.
- Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, campaigns, and trade shows targeted at GCC markets.
4. Performance & Reporting
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs related to lead generation, qualified opportunities, and closed deals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records with details on leads, interactions, and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular reports on market activity, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B business development or sales, preferably in technology, SaaS, or IT solutions.
- Proven track record of outbound prospecting and achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with GCC business culture and strong regional network.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
