Job Description
- Responsible for leading and governing the Bid Control Process across Giza Systems, ensuring all bids comply with internal policies, risk frameworks, and the Delegation of Authority (DOA). It ensures alignment with customer requirements, pricing standards, and risk policies, while supporting the submission of high-quality, competitive proposals that drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead risk assessments and commercial reviews for high-value and strategic bids.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal approval stages, including qualification, solution design, offer structuring, contracting, and handover.
- Validate that all approval decisions and related meeting minutes are accurately documented by the Bid Manager.
- Collaborate closely with the Bid Management Office (under the CCO) to ensure consistency and alignment in bid documentation, records, and standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership on bid quality, risk insights, and identified compliance gaps.
- Track and monitor all active bids through the approved Bid Control Process, ensuring timely progression through each required stage.
- Accurately input and maintain key bid data (e.g., contract value, stage, risk level) within the bid pipeline tracker and related systems.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of review meetings, including preparing and distributing supporting documents and recording meeting minutes.
- Verify the completeness and compliance of all bid approval documentation, including templates, checklists, approvals, and sign-off records.
- Assist in maintaining version control, enforcing the use of standard templates, and ensuring proper formatting of all bid materials.
- Maintain and organize the central repository of historical bids, lessons learned, templates, and relevant reference materials.
- Generate periodic reports, under the direction of the Senior Bid Control Officer, on KPIs such as bid volume, cycle time, win rates, and compliance metrics.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Finance, Technical) to ensure bid records and documentation are current, accurate, and accessible.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business.
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Familiarity with bid management, project control, or process compliance practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SharePoint, ERP/CRM systems, or specialized bid tools is a plus.
