Role: Shopper Marketing & Social Media Specialist
Location: New Cairo, Egypt
About the role:
We are looking for a proactive Shopper Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be driven by shopper insight and able to translate marketing strategy into impactful in-store and eCommerce activations. Experience in social media management is required, but the primary focus of this role is on shopper marketing execution and collaboration. Proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential. The position required the candidate to be in our New Cairo Office three days a week.
What you will be doing:
Shopper Marketing (Primary Focus):
- Serve as the main point of contact for all shopper marketing briefs and requests, across eCommerce and in-store POSM.
- Develop and execute shopper marketing campaigns based on shopper insights, collaborating closely with sales, brand, and agency teams.
- Coordinate with creative designers to develop effective visual assets; present and defend shopper marketing materials to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor, track, and report campaign performance, using insights to optimize future shopper initiatives.
- Maintain expert awareness of shopper behaviors, retail trends, and competitor activity to inform and elevate marketing activities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end shopper journey for all key channels.
- Support budget management, timeline tracking, and post-campaign analysis for all shopper marketing projects.
Social Media (Supporting Function):
- Assist in ensuring brand messaging and creative is consistent across digital and shopper touchpoints.
- Support the social team by helping to identify user-generated content (UGC) and relevant influencer partnerships aligned with shopper programs.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics that relate to shopper campaigns.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 1-2 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or similar roles
- Experience in social media management is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable shopper strategies
- Creative problem solver with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media tools and marketing software.
