Company Description
Lesaffre Egypt for yeast industries is an Egyptian joint stock company for producing baking yeasts and yeasts extract. We are 100% owned by the holding company and part of Middle East & Africa baking region.
Lesaffre Egypt was established according to the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law No. 8 of 1997, and registered in the Commercial Registry Office of Cairo Investment authority under No. 65570 on April, 14, 2013.
Our main operational purpose is to establish, manufacture, and package yeasts, yeast derivatives, and yeasts extracts. These many forms and types are then used within food products, animal feed, bread-making and bread improvers, flavorings, colors, and enzymes.
In October 2014, Lesaffre Egypt for yeasts industry (S.A.E) began effectively managing the acquired company.
Lesaffre Egypt’s main office is located in the Giza Governorate of Sheikh Zayed City while the factory is placed in the Nubaryia Industrial Area of El Beheira Governorate. We also have a Baking Center and Logistics Warehouse in 6th of October City. Currently, We employ more than 200 individual.
Job Description
- Checks results and analysis of WWT station and reports in terms of: WWT, boilers, cooling towers and chillers, and assures that it is within the quality and legal limits.
- Follows up on operations and quality assurance of cooling towers and chemicals handling, monitors quality assurance of chillers and boilers.
- follows up on condition of equipment and in case of down time issues work order to be delivered to maintenance team and following up on repair status.
- Handles distribution of work in terms of shifts and vacations.
- Follows up the daily maintenance work orders and follow the execution of the urgent maintenance work.
- Coordinate with the maintenance the shutdown plans and the shutdown activities.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry science/engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 7–10 years of experience.
At least 3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role in a similar technical environmen
Technical Competencies:
Wastewater Treatment Operations
Deep understanding of WWT processes, treatment parameters, and compliance standards.
Utilities Systems Expertise
Proficient in the operation and monitoring of boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
Chemical Handling & Dosing
Knowledge of chemical usage in water treatment and cooling systems, including safety and optimization.
Equipment Maintenance Coordination
Ability to identify faults, initiate work orders, and follow up with maintenance for timely resolution.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Skilled in interpreting water and equipment performance data to ensure legal and internal quality standards are met.
Operational Knowledge
Comprehensive understanding of unit processes within water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.
Specific expertise in:
a) Water treatment processes
b) Wastewater treatment processes
c) Boiler operation and water treatment
d) Cooling tower operation and chemical treatment
e) Evaporation processes (preferred)
Systems Expertise (Preferred)
Foundational knowledge in supporting systems, including:
Electrical systems relevant to water/wastewater operations
Mechanical systems used in treatment plants
Instrumentation and control systems for process automation and monitoring
Computer & Digital Skills
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Plant data entry and management systems
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
Additional Information
In charge of following up WWT station and evaporators operations and quality.
The position will be located in Nubaria, Egypt.
