Role Objective:
The Acquisition Lead is responsible for executing the expansion plan of our vendor network by identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-potential partners across key categories. Through data-driven decision-making, market intelligence, and strong commercial acumen, the role ensures sustainable growth and a competitive edge in the food delivery landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Execute acquisition strategy: Execute the partner acquisition plan across priority zones and categories (restaurants, dark kitchens, specialty vendors).
Identify & close top partners: Build a strong pipeline of high-performing brands that will drive value to our user base.
Negotiate commercial terms: Work with finance and legal to close fair, scalable deals; commission rates, SLAs,...
Market intelligence: Stay ahead of food trends, regional gaps, and competitor moves to inform acquisition priorities.
Reporting & targets: Track acquisition KPIs, optimize funnel conversion, and report performance to senior leadership.
Requirements
Experience in business development, sales, or partnerships — ideally within food tech, e-commerce, or FMCG
Proven track record of closing deals and scaling merchant/vendor bases
Strong understanding of the food delivery landscape in Egypt
Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Arabic + English)
Data-driven mindset — comfortable with CRM tools, Excel, and funnel metrics
Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and self-directed — you're not afraid to get things done yourself
