The purpose of the job is to automate the current Egypt reporting which includes both internal and external regulator with new aged BI reporting tools such as Qlik Sense & Power BI etc. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the reporting needs of multiple teams, systems, and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing our company’s reporting architecture to support our next generation of products and BI reporting initiatives.
- Create and maintain optimal reporting pipeline,
- Prepare and automate various business datasets into meaningful reporting that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing BI delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Keep our data separated and secure
- Create BI repository of best practices for analytics team members that assist team in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our reporting systems
- Over 7 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or equivalent.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
- Experience in Data Analytics or Business Analytics roles.
- Proficient in working with large datasets using SQL, Hive, or statistical packages.
- Skilled in building automated data dashboards and visualizations to deliver business insights to senior leadership teams.
- Capable of understanding business problems and providing data-driven solutions.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements and communicate them to the technical team.
- Gap Analysis: Analyze business process flows, assess their impact on technology flows, and translate regulatory/functional requirements into functional technical requirement documents.
- Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate the scope and technical feasibility of requirements.
- Data Mapping: Create functional data mapping documents and preliminary designs based on final requirements and business expectations.
- Hands-on experience in Qlik Sense/Power BI development, dashboarding, data modeling, and ad hoc report generation techniques.
- Experienced in application design, architecture, development, and deployment using Qlik Sense/Power BI, with proficiency in front-end development and visualization best practices.
- Strong database design and SQL skills, experienced with RDMS such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for delivering technical insights and interpreting data reports to clients, as well as understanding and serving client requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and thoughtful implementation of Qlik Sense best practices to deliver effective BI solutions.
- Ability to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology and Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze large datasets.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
