- Responsible for managing the application delivery of Egypt. Executing the comprehensive roadmap to drive major new capabilities for applications and digital channel strategy of technology.
- Responsibilities include Implementation. Project management and delivering unique service by providing high quality of support. Provide thought leadership in core, digital and channels technology and drive transformation projects and changes for all major business and technology initiatives. Including Continuous Delivery, digitization. Strategy. Automation and key technology / vendor selections resulting in reduction of operating cost & bring in efficiency in processes.
Supports as first escalation level for production issues & incidents
- Ensure that requirements and priorities are properly defined and are in line with business needs.
- Actively partner with Business stakeholders and manage the Project/ Change management and Issues.
- Ensure that the management is (at all times) informed of all risks. Issues and their status.
- Actively involve with Head Office Technology applications team in identifying and delivering key IT initiatives and projects.
- Adhere to banks operational risk policy.
- Provide general administrative support to the team. Including meetings, knowledge transfer and activity reporting.
- Prepare feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and implementation plans.
- Monitor projects to design, test and implement systems / applications.
- Work closely with Delivery teams, Testing Teams, vendors to ensure solutions are delivered as per the business requirements.
- Manage the direction and technology for the banks existing and future application portfolio
- Engage and partner with the business to understand requirements. Ensure alignment to the strategy. principles and reference architecture, and assist in shaping the solution to achieve this
- Keep up-to-date on new technology, standards, protocols and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment
- The position will directly or indirectly be responsible for infrastructure, security. Audit, risk, incident & SLA management, architecture, human resources including engagement, budget financials & tracking, capacity planning, project delivery, vendor management & outsourcing related to the team.
- Focus on regulatory, control & audit requirements and manage all known risks related to team and systems that can impact security of data, system downtime, incidents etc.
- Acts as first escalation level for production issues & incidents to ensure that BAU is going on smoothly
- Cross border team interaction and management experience.
- University degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
- Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.
- Strong Program management and general management skills.
