Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Commercial Operations Specialist to support Saudi Arabia, based in Cairo, Egypt.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations Function in monitoring forecast integrity for all company products and analyzing trends to for more efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management for all SKUs, ensuring optimal inventory levels and timely replenishment.
- Prepare reports Out of Stock SKUs and collaborate with the Operations Manager to address supply shortages.
- Participate in monitoring the financial alignment of sales versus budget and assist in analyzing variances.
- Assist in creating and maintaining databases for market demand, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Support the Operations Manager in handling the inbound logistics process.
- Participate in meetings with distributors to discuss inventory coverage and order processes, providing necessary data and insights.
- Support the Operations Manager in aligning with the warehouse team to prioritize purchase order deliveries.
- Assist in owning process for sales returns, following SOPs, and ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Maintain balanced business relationships with our distributors and customers.
- Responsible for generating reports on inventory coverage, analyzing sales data, and identifying risk items.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and guidelines, reporting any deviations to the Operations Head.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAM Team, commercial and Supply chain to ensure smooth operations and process alignment.
- Provide support in Sales and Operations Planning meetings, gathering relevant information for analysis and decision-making.
- Support the Head of Finance in the preparation of the Sales Simulator on a monthly basis to support decision making and awareness of the inventory coverage.
- Create any specific reserves required for close to expiry products with the supply chain team to ensure no surprises for the financials and gain approval from the HoF.
- Adhoc projects directed by HOF or operations manager related to inventory management.
- Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, Finance, supply chain, or a related role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Solid understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in using relevant software applications and systems, such as SAP or other ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data to generate insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial.
