Job Description
Concierge Agent:
We are seeking a professional and friendly Concierge Agent to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Concierge Agent, you will be the go-to person for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.
- Greet guests warmly and offer professional, consistent, and engaging service
- Anticipate guests' needs and make informed suggestions for activities, dining, and local attractions
- Assist guests with making reservations for travel, dining, and special events
- Serve as a knowledgeable liaison between guests and all aspects of the hotel
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about hotel services and local area attractions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
- Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently and courteously
- Maintain an organized and tidy concierge desk area
- Stay informed about local events, attractions, and changes in hotel services
- Assist with additional guest services such as luggage storage, transportation arrangements, and special requests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar concierge or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel (experience with Property Management Systems is a plus)
- Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- In-depth knowledge of Cairo's attractions, restaurants, events, and local culture
- Multilingual skills are highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality or tourism is a plus

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
