CCDS is looking for a dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Application Security to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on protecting client applications from security vulnerabilities by implementing best practices and methodologies throughout the software development life cycle. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that security is integrated into every stage of application development, from design to deployment. Your expertise will be vital in identifying potential threats and ensuring that our clients' applications remain secure.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer with strong application and infrastructure security knowledge. The role includes administration, and troubleshooting of security platforms. The engineer should be able to diagnose issues, recommend improvements, and work with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
· Deploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot the following security solutions: MFA, EDR/EPP, PAM, DLP, Data Classification, and Secure File Sharing solutions.
· Assist in implementation and upgrades of security products across the environment.
· Monitor systems for security alerts and performance issues, and drive remediation.
· Conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical security incidents.
· Collaborate with infrastructure teams, networking, systems, AD, storage, and virtualization to solve complex issues.
· Maintain system documentation, build guides, and SOPs for security tools.
· Participate in security enhancement projects and produce technical reports.
· Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
· 3 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security engineering roles.
· Hands on expertise with MFA, EDR/EPP, PAM, DLP, Data Classification, and Secure File Sharing solutions.
· Solid understanding of Windows and Linux, network protocols, Active Directory, and virtualization.
· Ability to independently troubleshoot escalations and drive issues to closure.
· Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred
· Vendor certifications in any of the listed technologies.
· Scripting or automation skills, for example PowerShell or Python.
· Familiarity with security audits and compliance standards, for example ISO 27001 and NCA requirements.
