Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for the administration, configuration, monitoring, and reporting of security platforms to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance across asset management, endpoint protection, encryption, data loss prevention, identity governance, and privileged access systems.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management
- Ensure agents installation compliance across systems.
- Perform installation, remediation, and administration activities as required.
- Prepare monthly monitoring and compliance reports.
- Maintain software installation compliance and execute remediation actions.
Endpoint Protection
- Carry out installation and configuration of endpoint protection agents.
- Conduct quarterly configuration reviews and monitoring.
- Perform remediation activities as needed based on alerts and findings.
- Generate monthly endpoint security monitoring reports.
Encryption
- Configure and administer encryption tools and policies.
- Perform quarterly policy configuration reviews and monitoring.
- Execute remediation tasks as required.
- Provide monthly monitoring and compliance reports.
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Manage DLP agent deployment and upgrades.
- Configure and maintain policies for data loss prevention systems.
- Conduct quarterly policy review and monitoring activities.
- Perform remediation and configuration updates as needed.
- Generate quarterly operational and compliance reports.
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Configure and maintain identity and access management policies and roles.
- Perform quarterly policy reviews and monitoring.
- Handle ongoing administrative and remediation tasks.
- Deliver quarterly IAM monitoring and performance reports.
- Provide technical support for IAM related issues.
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Review privileged user access on a monthly basis.
- Generate monthly PAM monitoring and compliance reports.
- Provide administration and technical support for PAM systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as cybersecurity operations and administration or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols.
- Hands on experience with DLP, IAM, PAM, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions.
- Familiarity with policy configuration, monitoring, incident remediation, and reporting.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM, etc.) are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
