Graphic Designer

JOB PURPOSE:

The Graphic Designer will report to the Communication Manager, creating visually impactful designs for various channels. This role requires creativity, proficiency in industry-standard software, and a professional approach to feedback and deadlines, ensuring designs meet company goals and current design trends.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Design and produce materials across various channels, including internal campaigns, presentations, brochures, social media, and other documents, incorporating trends and best practices.
• Review and advise on art and composition collaborations between RDMC and external entities.
• Support company departments as needed, visualizing communication needs and creating designs in both print and digital formats.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, create rough drafts, and develop design mock-ups, submitting work to the Communication Manager for review.
• Coordinate edits for audio/video and other materials to support digital and print content, pitching creative solutions with clarity.
• Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of Adobe Premiere is a plus.
• Understanding of both digital and print design, with a strong grasp of design principles (typography, composition, color theory, etc.).
• Skilled in PC and Mac usage, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 6 or higher and Microsoft Office 2007 or higher.
• High attention to detail, interest in usability and user experience, and good writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and manage competing demands effectively.
• Strong time management skills with the capability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design.
