CCDS is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our vibrant team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients, particularly within the Saudi market. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping the cloud strategy and ensuring the solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and hands-on experience with major cloud service providers, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will lead the architectural vision and guide teams in the deployment and management of cloud services while collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud architecture in line with business requirements.
- Implement cloud solutions across various platforms while ensuring compliance with security policies and industry regulations.
- Assess existing architectures and recommend optimizations for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Engage with clients to understand their cloud transformation journey and provide expert guidance.
- Lead architectural reviews and oversee the implementation of best practices for cloud governance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
- Stay current with technological advancements in cloud computing and provide thought leadership within the organization.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with their professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with 3+ years in a senior role
- Strong background in multiple cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and deployment methodologies
- Proven knowledge of cloud security concepts and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent are preferred
- Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
