As the Senior Content Writer, you will be responsible for helping us connect with our customer base across several different channels. You will be responsible for conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas, creating content for our platforms, including LinkedIn posts, and contributing to our blogs.
In this Role you will:
- Work closely within the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and craft beautifully worded content that is insightful, engaging and impactful.
- Propose copy concepts and conduct research on any given topic to produce well-researched content for publication online and in print.
- Good grasp and understanding of numbers and leveraging platform data to support content created.
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
- Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Help create style guides or suggest changes to ensure content is consistent and clear.
- Set and follow a strict & busy editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as MRETA, LinkedIn and dubizzle’s very own blog.
- Assist the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
- Use search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies in writing to maximise the online visibility of a website in search results.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge
- Impeccable grasp of both Arabic & English languages, including industry-related keywords and expressions.
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
- An understanding of search engine optimisation best practices.
Skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills, including prioritising, scheduling and adapting when necessary.

- Agile and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- An eye for details and the ability to proofread one's own work is a must.
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
