Provide technical expertise in Oracle Data Warehousing, Schema design, Oracle Reports, and Oracle BI tools.
Assist with the development, maintenance, and support of the existing Oracle DW/BI environment.
Contribute functional and technical knowledge related to Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion applications to support data extraction, integration, and reporting requirements.
Potentially assist with data migration, upgrades, or new implementations related to Oracle EBS and/or Fusion.
Improve efficiency and reduce the workload on the onshore team.
2. Scope of Services:
The resource will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
2.1. Oracle Data Warehousing & Schema:
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle data warehouse schemas, including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and other dimensional models.
Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Oracle tools (e.g., SQL*Loader, PL/SQL) or other relevant ETL tools as required.
Optimize data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
Create and maintain data dictionaries and data models.
Troubleshoot data loading and data quality issues within the data warehouse.
2.2. Oracle Reports:
Design, develop, and modify various types of Oracle Reports (e.g., tabular, matrix, chart-based).
Develop reports based on data from Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, and the data warehouse.
Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy.
Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Reports.
Manage report scheduling and distribution as required.
2.3. Oracle EBS Functional & Technical Knowledge (If Applicable):
Understand the data structures and business processes within relevant Oracle EBS modules (specify modules, e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR).
Assist in identifying and extracting data from Oracle EBS for reporting and data warehousing purposes.
Develop custom SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures to access and manipulate data within Oracle EBS.
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand reporting requirements and data needs.
Potentially assist with technical configurations or customizations within Oracle EBS related to data and reporting.
2.4. Oracle Fusion Functional & Technical Knowledge (If Applicable):
Understand the data structures and business processes within relevant Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications modules (specify modules, e.g., Financials, SCM, HCM).
Assist in identifying and extracting data from Oracle Fusion for reporting and data warehousing purposes, utilizing tools like Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher.
Develop and customize reports and analyses within the Oracle Fusion environment.
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand reporting requirements and data needs in Fusion.
Potentially assist with technical configurations or customizations within Oracle Fusion related to data and reporting.
3. Tools and Technologies:
The resource should have access to and be proficient in using the following tools and technologies:
Oracle Database
Oracle SQL Developer or similar database development tools
Oracle Reports Builder
Oracle BI tools (specify versions and tools, e.g., OBIEE 12c, OAC)
