Identifying current and emerging security technology issues including security trends and threats
Responsible for implementing new security solutions to better protect the Bank’s Network and information assets.
Conducting proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate mitigations
Liaising with vendors to implement recommended security solutions
Administration and operation for endpoint security (AV solution)
Maintain the bank’s security systems up and running. This might involve implementing and testing new security features, planning upgrades and troubleshooting issues.
Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions
Document and review standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or computer Science, or related field.
In-Depth Knowledge of installation, integration, and optimization of system components
For the System Security Officer role up from 3-5 years of relevant experience
For the System Security Senior Officer from to 5-7 years of relevant experience
Experience within Banking Industry will be considered as an asset
Skills:
Excellent command of English and Arabic languages (written and spoken)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent planning and organizing skills
Excellent Business Acumen of external market and up-to-date market trends and practices.
Must be able to determine, how security system should work (including its resilience and dependability capabilities) and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes
