Role Objective
The Senior Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving the expansion of our vendor network by identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-potential partners across key categories. By combining data-driven insights, market knowledge, and strong commercial acumen, the role ensures sustainable growth and strengthens our competitive position in the food delivery landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, research, and engage high-potential restaurants and food brands that align with user demand and category growth priorities.
Lead negotiations on commission rates, SLAs, settlement terms, and promotional commitments under the guidance of senior leadership.
Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely progress tracking and accurate updates in CRM tools.
Provide the onboarding team with complete and accurate partner information (menus, contacts, deal terms) to enable a smooth and efficient go-live process.
Monitor competitor activity, emerging food trends, and local market players to continuously refresh and optimize the acquisition pipeline.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align on category campaigns and support early traction for newly onboarded partners.
Maintain acquisition dashboards, track performance against monthly targets, and highlight risks or opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships — preferably within food tech, e-commerce, or FMCG.
Strong knowledge of the food delivery landscape in Egypt.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
Analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and funnel performance metrics.
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and hands-on, with the ability to independently drive initiatives and deliver results.
