The Corporate Legal Senior Manager - Contracts at Hyde Park Developments will oversee and manage all contractual agreements related to the company’s operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide legal opinion on, draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex corporate contracts and legal agreements including but not limited to vendor agreements, service agreements, NDAs, Mergers & Acquisitions, intellectual property ………. etc.
- Ensure all contracts are legally sound, compliant with company policy, and aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor contract lifecycle and ensure proper execution, renewal, or termination.
- Provide legal risk assessments for proposed contractual arrangements and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and manage a centralized contracts database and tracking system.
- Ensure timely compliance with corporate legal requirements, such as company filings, licenses, and regulatory submissions.
- Support the formation, restructuring, or liquidation of legal entities as needed.
- Act as liaison with external regulators, authorities, law first and legal bodies as needed.
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial, operational, and regulatory matters.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations that may impact business operations.
- Advise business units on legal rights and obligations and assess legal implications of projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree or additional legal certifications (LLM, corporate law, contract law) is a plus.
- Average 10 years of experience in corporate legal practice, governmental authorities preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house roles.
- Strong expertise in commercial contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs.
- Solid Industry experience in real estate is a must.
