Position Overview:
We are looking for a Rockstar, Spirited, Outgoing, and energetic Events Manager, who will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing the exciting line-up of events during the El Gouna Film Festival. The Events Manager will work closely with the Events Director and internal departments to ensure seamless event delivery — from screenings, red carpets, and press events to panels, gala dinners, and community activations.

The Events Manager will work closely with the Events Director and internal departments to ensure seamless event delivery — from screenings, red carpets, and press events to panels, gala dinners, and community activations.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Support in the planning and execution of the festival’s events calendar.
- Manage event timelines, schedules, logistics, and operations to ensure smooth delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners. Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effective execution.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work with PR, Guest Relations, and Hospitality teams to align event logistics with festival objectives.
- Ensure consistent communication across departments regarding event details and requirements. Coordinate with external stakeholders, sponsors, and local authorities for approvals and support.
On-Site Festival Support:
- Act as a key on-site manager during festival events, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise event staff and volunteers, providing clear direction and oversight. Troubleshoot last-minute issues quickly and effectively.
Reporting & Follow-Up:
- Prepare post-event reports, evaluations, and recommendations for improvement. Contribute to the development of systems to measure event success and guest feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in event management, live entertainment, or cultural festivals.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic.
- Proven experience in managing vendors, budgets, and contracts.
- Professional presence and confidence in working with high-profile guests, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work long hours during the festival period, including evenings and weekends.
- Hands-on leadership skills to guide staff and volunteers. A proactive team player with creativity, flexibility, and a passion for cinema and cultural events.
