Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: This includes sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. Once a new hire is selected, the HR Generalist manages the onboarding process, which involves preparing paperwork, conducting orientation, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Employee Relations: They serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, resolving issues and mediating disputes. This often involves interpreting and enforcing company policies and labor laws.
- Performance Management: HR Generalists assist managers with performance reviews, create performance improvement plans, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
