Job purpose:
The Marketing Research Senior Executive will be part of the Marketing Research Department at Hyde Park Developments. As part of a key strategic function in the organization, this role is important in providing actionable inputs for formulating corporate decision-making, strategy setting, and continuous corporate excellence. Working in partnership with cross-functional teams, the role will encompass consumer research, competitive tracking, real estate asset class segmentation, market trends identification, and internal corporate research.
Job Responsibility:
- Work closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders, keeping note of both corporate and department-level objectives
- Create and design customized research study briefs, detailing study objectives, research methodology, target sample structure, as well as project deliverables
- Thoroughly brief research agencies on study specifics, receive proposals, and ensure they are in line with project requirements
- Design discussion guidelines and questionnaires, as well as go through project materials by agencies, providing word-by-word feedback
- Supervise whole research project stages, from initial setup to delivery of findings’ reports
- Attend focus group discussions, ensuring questions are being asked in their intended manner, and all study objectives are being covered
- Cross-check and validate data, and thoroughly go through research reports received by agencies, providing word-by-word feedback
- Design and compile internal research findings reports for stakeholder meetings and workshops. Transform data into actionable findings and relevant recommendations, identify key trends, and translate findings into narratives that provide inputs for strategic decision-making
- Effectively communicate research findings to diverse stakeholders across the organization
- Continuously track competitor pricing strategies, new product launches, marketing campaigns, and overall market activities
- Continuously track industry trends, and formulate reports shedding light on recent market updates
- Occasionally attend real estate exhibitions, round table discussions, and key events to identify recent industry and market highlights

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in marketing research agencies
- Has experience in working on both qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Experienced in designing discussion guidelines and questionnaires, deriving findings from data, and writing both qualitative and quantitative research reports
- Worked on diverse types of research studies across different sectors
- Has experience in formulating research briefs in light of business objectives, and translating them into research proposals
- Has the ability to translate data and transform it into concise and actionable findings, and derive strategic recommendations
- Highly accurate and able to read through data, validate, and cross-check, ensuring data accuracy and quality
- Ability to react and adapt quickly to changing business and market updates
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
