Job Purpose:
Follow-up and coordinating the production process to ensure on-time finishing, in addition to maintaining accurate cost allocations and documentation of production activities Also, the specialist analyzes production data and provides insights to finish the production plan
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring production schedules and progress
- Tracking the status of ongoing production jobs or project
- Identifying potential delays or bottlenecks and communicating them to the relevant stakeholders Coordinating with various teams (manufacturing, engineering, procurement, etc
- ) to ensure timely completion of production
- Reviewing and correcting cost allocations to the proper cost center
- Serving as the primary point of contact for production-related inquiries and updates
- Facilitating communication between different departments involved in the production process
- Keeping the production and maintenance manager informed about the current status of production activities
- Maintaining detailed records of production activities, including schedules, progress reports, and performance metrics
- Documenting any changes, adjustments, or decisions made during the production process Ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation for future reference and auditing purposes
- Generating regular progress reports and performance metrics for management (the productivity)
