As a Project Writer within the DMD-OTS Manufacturing IT Systems team at Danfoss Drives, you will play a vital role in supporting project communication, documentation, and stakeholder alignment across multiple manufacturing IT initiatives. Your ability to translate technical details into clear, structured documentation will help ensure seamless execution, transparency, and consistency across our global projects.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including project charters, business cases, user stories, requirement specifications, meeting minutes, status reports, and internal communication materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and IT specialists to gather, verify, and clarify complex technical information.
- Support communication planning and execution for project milestones, stakeholder updates, and change management initiatives.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to Danfoss standards for formatting, clarity, and consistency.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and internal reports for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage the project documentation repository, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing practices and continuous improvement of project documentation processes
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Technical Writing, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in technical writing, project documentation, or a similar role—preferably in a manufacturing or IT environment.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to understand and document complex technical topics in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools; experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, or similar platforms) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, and cross-cultural environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
