We’re looking for a General Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance with IFRS standards, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely financial reporting, manage ERP transactions, and contribute to process improvements.

What You Will Do 💡
- Lead day to day accounting operations, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and adherence to IFRS standards.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and HR to align on cost allocations and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, tools, and internal controls.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing financial procedures and workflows.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
Requirements
What Are We Looking For ❓
- 2–4 years of experience as a General Accountant, preferably within e-commerce or technology-driven environments.
- Solid knowledge and application of IFRS standards and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), with hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
