How You’ll Make an Impact
- Promote a positive health and safety culture by leading in-house training and providing safety instruction at the work site.
- Ensure compliance with safety legislation, Siemens-specific regulations, and IFC requirements through daily inspections and documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments, report accidents and near misses, and implement preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
- Monitor the correct use of personal protective equipment and ensure regular site inspections for policy alignment.
- Coordinate first aid administration and train personnel in health and safety standards through Toolbox Talks.
- Prepare and transmit weekly reports to the EHS department, contributing to continuous safety improvements.
What You Bring
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in occupational health and safety, with a preference for expertise in the power generation sector
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Physics, engineering (electrical or mechanical) or other relevant subject area.
- Skilled in health and safety management systems, with certifications like ISO45001, ISO14001, and NEBOSH IGC preferred.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing effective safety measures.
- Excellent communication skills for leading training sessions and participating in official meetings.
- Diligent approach to documentation and inspection processes, ensuring compliance and prompt resolution of non-conformances.
- Ability to coordinate and supervise safety activities, including the handling and storage of hazardous substances.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
