Job Description
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for evaluating, designing, and supporting electrical systems and components throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and technical excellence in bids, installations, and project executions.
Evaluate electrical systems, components, products, and applications by applying design knowledge and understanding of electricity and materials.
Design and implement testing procedures to confirm systems’ and components’ performance and capabilities.
Support the bidding process by selecting appropriate equipment, preparing technical specifications, and ensuring competitive pricing to enhance bid success.
Ensure the proper installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components in ongoing projects to meet technical standards.
Review tender documents and drawings to prepare accurate technical proposals, estimate costs, and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors for pricing and negotiations.
Work toward achieving success metrics by recommending cost-effective solutions and enhancing technical value in proposals.
Collaborate with team members to accomplish project goals and contribute to overall project success.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments by attending technical workshops and reviewing engineering best practices.
Continuously improve designs by adopting cutting-edge technologies and modern engineering methodologies.
Personal Skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in all design and project execution phases.
- Proficient in computer and engineering software, includingAutoCAD, specialized electrical design tools, and water-related design applications.
- Very good command of English, ensuring clarity in documentation, technical reporting, and professional correspondence.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and with stakeholders.
- Solid experience in electrical design for
water and wastewater projects, with strong knowledge of industry standards and requirements.
Technical Skills
Electrical Design for Water & Wastewater Projects - Proficient in designing electrical systems including pumps, MCCs, control panels, and process automation.
Software Proficiency - Skilled in AutoCAD, ETAP, Ecodial, Dialux, and water design tools for drafting, analysis, and simulation.
Tendering & Estimation - Experience in reviewing tender documents, preparing technical offers, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Codes & Standards Compliance - Strong knowledge of IEC, NEC, and local electrical codes and safety regulations.
Testing & Commissioning - Hands-on experience in site supervision, system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning support.
