Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Interior Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing technical drawings, and overseeing project execution while ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD, 3D Max, or Revit drawings, mood boards, and material specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure design feasibility and project success.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting while considering aesthetics, budget, and sustainability.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Prepare cost estimates and project timelines in coordination with the project management team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design engineering, preferably in fit-out or construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of materials, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), and construction methods.
- Excellent creativity, visualization, and space-planning skills.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
