Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategies that will enhance the company's market presence and leadership in the supermarket chain sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Build, train, and coach a highly capable marketing team.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute a robust marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Product Development: Oversee the development and positioning of the company’s private label products.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, purchasing, and merchandising teams to ensure product quality and competitive pricing.
- Communication Management: Develop and manage the company’s communication strategy, including social media, in-store promotions, and above-the-line advertising.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to build and retain a loyal customer base.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Campaign Execution: Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
- Performance Analysis: Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights, and assess against goals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a marketing or brand management role, preferably within the FMCG, retail, or supermarket industry.
