Job Description:
AlQuranClasses is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher Manager to oversee and manage our team of online Qur’an teachers. This role plays a vital part in maintaining high teaching standards, verifying qualifications, and fostering the development and discipline of teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Monitoring:
Audit Qur’an classes regularly to evaluate teaching quality, Tajweed accuracy, punctuality, and teacher behavior.
Interview & Hiring:
Conduct interviews for new teachers, verifying their Islamic education, credentials, and teaching capabilities.
Training & Orientation:
Train teachers on the tools used for online sessions and share teaching guidelines, communication etiquette, and class management techniques.
Document Verification:
Ensure the authenticity of teachers' educational and Qur’anic qualifications.
Reporting:
Submit performance reports to the Teacher Coordinator, highlighting areas of improvement.
Support & Supervision:
Assist underperforming teachers with improvement plans and encourage professional development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing or supervising teachers (preferably in an online education setup)
- Strong understanding of Qur’an, Tajweed, and Islamic Studies
- Ability to assess teacher performance, professionalism, and teaching methods
- Must be accessible and available during work hours to oversee teacher operations
- Familiarity with online teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Laptop and headphones are mandatory
