Regulatory operations specialist

Purpose of Job:
Together with all relevant functions and potentially interacting with external stakeholders (suppliers, co-manufacturers and/or distributors), the Regulatory Operations specialist will collaborate closely with NHS RSA Category Managers and NHS in the Markets to manage compliance of raw materials, formulations, labels, and management of change, as much as supporting the preparation of regulatory dossiers for export products, managing the regulatory relationship with distributors, and conducting regulatory impact assessments. The Regulatory Operations specialist will provide support to build and manage regulatory requirements (primairly EU, but possibly other markets/regions) with proactive participation in product developments and geographical expansions, while ensuring the Group Standards and Policies are systematically implemented..
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
"Regulatory assessments and management of change: Regulatory compliance of recipes, raw material specifications and/or labels against EU Regulations (or other regions accordingly), Nestlé Internal limits and/or locally defined requirements
Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of food regulations in her/his region field of competence and share knowledge with RSA Teams and other functions. Implement regulatory changes in his/her field of competence "- Dossier compilation for registrations/notifications: Support markets and the global regulatory team by managing and harmonizing, if possible, registration documents and processes.
- Managing regulatory relationship with distributors: As NHSc distributors do not have direct access to Nestle systems, the regulatory operations specialist is expected to serve as the liason of
- Support the Global regulatory team in the development of digital systems to improve regulatory efficiency and reliability, processes acceleration and compliance.
- Support markets and the global regulatory team by managing and harmonizing, if possible, registration documents and processes.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL:
'• Minimum university degree level qualification in Food, Nutrition or Pharma Science. MSc or PhD is a plus.
- 2-3 years work experience in regulatory affairs in the Food or Pharma industries with knowledge of the Food, Supplement and/or Pharma regulations
- Any regulatory or document management system usage experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English (compulsory), other languages are a plus.
