Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to lead the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Chef On Demand’s operational processes. You will manage everything from chef coordination and logistics to customer satisfaction and performance monitoring.
This is a core operational role, offering the opportunity to shape and scale a new service from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the Chef On Demand service, including order fulfillment and shift scheduling
Plan capacity and forecast demand to ensure optimal chef deployment
Monitor KPIs like service quality, timing, cancellations, and customer satisfaction
Coordinate with Talent to onboard, train, and schedule chefs
Maintain chef rosters, availability, and performance records
Ensure chefs are fully equipped with tools, uniforms, ingredients, and transport
Oversee logistics and liaise with vendors/internal teams for supply needs
Ensure hygiene compliance and proper kitchen handover post-service
Develop SOPs and operational playbooks to guide service execution
Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, data-driven solutions
Track weekly performance and recommend continuous improvements
Own the customer journey operationally and resolve issues in real time
Collaborate with Customer Support for smooth issue handling and feedback loops
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, or service delivery
Background in foodtech, last-mile delivery, or hospitality is a plus
Strong organizational and execution skills
Data-driven approach with comfort using dashboards and performance metrics
Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
Willingness to work non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) as needed
