Job Summary:
The Senior Site Technical Solar Engineer will oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar energy systems, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise on-site solar PV system installations and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
- Conduct quality inspections and performance tests.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project managers.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in solar PV system installation and maintenance.
- Certifications in solar energy (e.g., NABCEP) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and travel to project sites.
