About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Content Specialist to join our marketing team. This role requires someone who can own and lead the content function, drive digital engagement, and contribute to lead generation through strategic campaigns and outreach. This position is a direct replacement for our outgoing team member and a critical part of our brand voice and visibility efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage content calendars across social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Lead the creation of engaging, on-brand content (text, image, video)
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to build community and drive engagement
- Coordinate with design, video, and product teams to develop integrated marketing content
- Oversee email marketing and cold outreach campaigns to support lead generation
- Track performance metrics and generate insights to optimise content strategy
- Stay updated on industry trends, social media algorithms, and competitor activity
- Contribute creative ideas to increase visibility, followers, and conversions
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in social media management and content marketing
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
- Proven experience running outreach/email campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn, Instantly, Apollo, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Suite, etc.)
- Good aesthetic sense and basic design skills (Canva or Adobe tools preferred)
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing trends and audience behaviours
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience leading or mentoring a team is a strong plus
