About you and this role
In this role, you will ensure that all accounting activities recorded in the company's books are accurate and complete. You will be responsible for budgeting, gross and net profit margin analysis, recording, reporting, analyzing, reconciling accounts, and communicating functional/business activity results. Additionally, you will assist function/business management teams in financial analysis necessary for decision-making.
This position requires an understanding of key business drivers within your discipline and function, along with the ability to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your area. You will provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information in an accessible way.
You will rely on your technical experience, established practices, and personal judgment to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. The quality of your work will impact both your own performance and that of your team, requiring adherence to established guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities
- Financial Recording & Compliance – Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of accounting activities, including reconciliations, and managing internal and external audit.
- Margin & Inventory Reviews – Analyze margins, monitor inventory, and conduct fixed asset reviews.
- Financial Analysis & Decision Support – Provide insights for business management teams on budgeting, benchmarking, and project evaluations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in budget-setting processes and manage financial estimates.
- Internal Collaboration & Reporting – Partner with various teams to support cost reporting, accounting policies, and internal controls.
- Problem-Solving & Process Improvement – Resolve financial issues, advise functional partners, and enhance efficiency in accounting operations.
Qualifications
- A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and business analysis.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in accounting, ensuring a strong foundation in financial processes while allowing for professional growth and expertise development.
- Ability to work within established guidelines and policies while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Proficiency in budgeting, margin analysis, and financial estimation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve straightforward issues

- Strong communication skills, especially in explaining complex information to non-financial stakeholders.
