Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring that all IT systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking, operating systems, and customer service skills to effectively resolve issues and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Server Management & Maintenance: Ensuring optimal operation, performing regular backups, and safeguarding critical data on company servers.
* System Administration: Overseeing the performance and functionality of our various IT systems and applications, providing essential technical support to users.
* Network Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnosing and resolving network-related issues across our company offices and manufacturing plant.
* Hardware Support: Providing comprehensive maintenance and support for all desktop and laptop computers, printers, and installing necessary software.
* Data & System Security: Contributing to the implementation of best security practices to protect the company's valuable information assets.
Qualifications:
* Experience: +4 years of practical experience in IT systems administration, technical support, or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or sales-driven environment.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
* Strong Proficiency in:
* Server administration (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
* Network troubleshooting and maintenance (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
* Operating systems (Windows, macOS/Linux is a plus).
* Office 365 applications.
* Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems is considered a significant advantage.
* Personal Skills:
* Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Flexibility and eagerness to address a variety of technical challenges.
