About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) for Vodafone Egypt who will be a part of the Customer Unit team and reporting to the Head of Sales and Country Manager Egypt.

Through strategic thinking, business development, and management of our resources you will enable a responsible business for Ericsson.

This role depends on a deep understanding of our customers’ business, operations, and objectives. The incumbent is responsible for consolidated customer contribution and cash-flow, including working capital.


We are seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) who embodies confident leadership and takes full responsibility for cultivating and enhancing business relationships. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, while actively contributing to the success of our clients.

The successful candidate will be accountable for managing customer relations and developing strategic business partnerships. Responsibilities include overseeing the sales and delivery processes, along with ensuring efficient cash collection. The KAM will lead a dedicated function focused on sales, business development, strategy, and delivery.

Additionally, the KAM will spearhead the development and execution of long-term account strategies. An essential aspect of this role involves coaching and nurturing a diverse, high-performing team to achieve organizational goals.

Ideal candidates will possess strong strategic vision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and drive team performance in alignment with company objectives.


What you will do

  • Generate profitable sales in fully compliant way and develop long term business for CU NME
  • Improve customer relationship and build dedication with Vodafone Egypt.
  • Ensure quality and profitability in delivery.
  • Ensure Ericsson Compliance framework is implemented and adhered to
  • Identify responsible business opportunities.
  • Identify customer business needs through consultative engagements.
  • Improve customer relationship and build dedication.

  • Lead and develop a stellar sale team.


The skills you bring

  • Education: Master of Business Administration, Master of Science or similar.
  • Min years of experience: 8-10 years of experience in relationship sales and within the ICT industry.
  • Having worked as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager
  • Market experience from working with various customer types.
  • Experience across the Full Ericsson portfolio (Networks, CSS, Technologies & New Business).
  • Change Management and Transformation skills.
  • You will be a person that excels at problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • We are a global team and Cultural awareness is key.
  • Your ability to enable teamwork and collaboration will be needed.
  • Financial acumen as week as Innovative and creative thinking
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent social and interpersonal skills
  • Responsive and result oriented.
  • You will be perseverant, as well as open-minded, with a passion to win.


  • This can be a LTA assignment as well depending on the identified candidate.
