Role Purpose
- Provide strong support in Rollout & Expansions TX changes area (BH & access) at all technical levels of operation.
- Follow up the execution of new rollout sites and expansion all technical levels of operation.
- Ensure highest transmission quality, availability and resilience through development and implementation of enhancement projects and work streams.
- Make the best use of transmission resources.
Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
Technical Support
- Ensure proper handling of technical problems in related TX tasks with transmission planning team to the Rollout & Expansions TX changes area.
- Align with the transmission planning team regarding the best utilization of TX nodes
- Align with the transmission planning and RAN teams for new sites activation and site expansions.
- Assist in technical training plans of the team according to the recent technological tends in the transmission access area
Operations
- Execute Rollout & Expansions TX changes & cutovers with best quality and minimal impact on internal/external customers
- Properly updated for all network changes in the design documents.
- Ensure best customer experience during Rollout & Expansions TX changes activities
- Ensure the workflow with other teams to meet VFE network KPIs
- Ensure proper integration of transmission links.
Emergency Handling
- Manual Interfering for H/W problems for TX nodes
- Follow up the major network activities to ensure a fault free operation.
Enhancement
- Responsible for initiating actions to enhance change management in the Rollout & Expansions TX changes area.
Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure highest internal customer satisfaction by owning and creating proper communication channels.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunication field.
- Recommended at least 2 years in the transmission operation field.
- Excellent knowledge of transmission concepts and configuration (PDH-SDH-Ethernet-IP-Routing-MPLS).
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- BSC of Engineering in Communications or Electronics
- Strong command of the English language
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Advanced presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- CCNA certification is preferred
