Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and experienced Tour Leaders to join our team across Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Tour Leader will be responsible for leading and guiding tours, providing exceptional customer service, conducting research, training, and working closely with tour operators. The Tour Leader will ensure that all travel arrangements run smoothly and provide a memorable experience for our clients.
Role Description
- In-depth knowledge of Egypt, including key locations.
- Patience and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to interact with various personality types effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tourists.
- Open-mindedness and acceptance of different opinions and perspectives.
- Professional neutrality without expressing personal opinions or judgments.
- Commitment to presenting a positive image of Egypt to tourists.
- Providing valuable tips and advice for an exceptional tourist experience.
- Avoidance of discussions on religious and political matters.
- Ensuring tourists' comfort (quiet rooms, appropriate food, effective coordination with guides).
- Assisting guests with difficulties (lost baggage, internet issues, finding ATMs, etc.).
- Clear distinction between the roles of a tour leader and a tour guide.
- Building trust and acting as a loyal companion to guests.
- Adherence to deadlines and schedules.
- Maintaining optimism and positivity.
- Active listening to guests, allowing them to express their opinions.
- Providing accurate and reliable information to guests.
- Offering special care and attention to elderly guests and children.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Proficient in French and English.
- Graduation from a French school & university is mandatory.
- Excellent communications skills.
